How the Pillow Supports Better Sleep
Soft Where You Want It, Supportive Where You Need It
A 50/50 blend of plush polyester fibre and shredded foam. The fibre gives that sink-in softness most pillows lose after a few months; the foam holds shape underneath so your head and neck stay supported all night.
Adjustable Fill
Open the zip and add or remove fill until the pillow matches your sleep position, body shape, and preference. The right height — set by you, not the factory.
Wool-Wrapped for Temperature Control
Foam pillows are notorious for trapping heat. This one is wrapped in a quilted Wisewool Pillow Duvet — a layer of breathable New Zealand wool that regulates temperature and wicks moisture, keeping the pillow cool through the night.
Built From Rescued Materials
The shredded foam inside is rescued off-cuts from headboard and squab production — fill that would otherwise go to landfill. Same comfort, less waste.
At the Do Not Disturb Sleep Company, when we are fortunate enough to make a sale, we believe that’s the start of our job. Our job is not done until our customers (hopefully you) love their sleep and wake up feeling refreshed and happy.
So, we are proud to offer a 30-night ‘Love Your Sleep’ Promise. If the sleep essential you purchase isn’t delivering to your expectations, you can return it within 30 nights to get a full refund, excluding shipping cost (if applicable). What’s the reason we can make this promise? Because our products work, and because we genuinely care

Size Guide:
Standard = 74cm x 49cm
King = 89cm x 49cm
Note: These are the cover sizes without the inner pillow. The actual pillow size is less than this and depends on whether you remove any of the fill.
Firmness guide:
Soft-Medium.
If you are looking for a softer pillow experience then take a look at our Super Soft pillow. We also have the Cloud Wool pillow if you need something denser / firmer... and 100% natural.
Remember, you can easily adjust the comfort level of our pillows by removing or adding fill.
Give the pillow a good shake and fluff up to rebalance the fill.
We make the pillows in our Auckland workroom from these local and imported materials:
- 200gsm Wisewool 'Blanketing' - made from premium wool sourced from farms in the Gisborne region
- 300TC 100% Cotton Percale - Quilted Cover
- 100% Cotton HD Muslin - Inner Pillowcase
- Polyester Fibre - Fill
- Rescued Foam - Fill (we shred off-cuts from headboards and squabs)
- Spun Polyester Thread
- Woven Damansk and Recylcled Polyester Labels
- Calico Cotton - Carry Bag (we make these in-house) *save $10 if you don't need any more packaging in your life :)
The outer pillow duvet can be machine washed in cold water on a delicate or wool cycle using a wool-safe detergent. Suitable for front loaders or top loaders without an agitator.
Air dry naturally where possible. If needed, finish in a tumble dryer on no heat only. Avoid heat, as it can damage wool fibres.
Can be ironed on a warm setting. Gently stretch the fabric while ironing to help reduce shrinkage.
A Better Foundation for Sleep
Find the Right Pillow for You
Pillow Duvet (Enhancer Layer)
Best for: keeping the pillow you love, but cooler and more breathable. A wool layer that fits over your existing pillow. The cheapest way to bring wool's temperature regulation to your bed without starting over.: Does not include filling — all other pillows in the range include this layer.
Air Support Pillow (Best Value)
Best for: a balanced, all-round feel at a lower price point. A blend of fibre and shredded foam — softer than wool, with a touch of structure. Includes synthetic materials.
Wisewool Pillow (Signature)
Best for: a fully natural, fully adjustable pillow you'll keep for years. 100% New Zealand wool. Open it, adjust it, refill it. Our highest-quality pillow and the one we'd choose for ourselves.
Super Soft Pillow (The Plush Option)
Best for: anyone who wants a soft, sink-in feel. Polyester fibre for a low-resistance, traditional pillow feel. Not natural — just soft.
Wool on the Outside. Adjustable on the Inside.
Most foam pillows have one job: support your head. They do it well at first, then trap heat as the night goes on.
Air Support is built differently. Inside, a 50/50 blend of soft fibre and rescued foam gives you a feel you can adjust. Wrapped around it, a quilted Wisewool Pillow Duvet — a layer of breathable New Zealand wool that regulates temperature, wicks moisture, and resists odours, mites, and allergens.
It's the reason Air Support sleeps cooler than the foam pillow you replaced — and why it stays comfortable for years, not months.
Still Wondering About Something?
No — and this is where Air Support is genuinely different from a standard foam pillow.
The fill is wrapped inside a quilted Wisewool Pillow Duvet — a layer of breathable New Zealand wool that sits between you and the foam. Wool actively regulates temperature and wicks moisture, so the heat that would normally build up against a foam pillow gets dispersed before it reaches you.
Several years of regular use. Shredded foam is more durable than solid foam blocks because it can shift and re-loft rather than crushing flat in one spot. The polyester fibre softens slightly over time but holds shape far longer than down or feather.
When the fill eventually softens, you don't need to replace the pillow — open the zip and top it up with fresh fill. The wool outer (the Pillow Duvet) is built to last separately and can be machine washed to keep it fresh.
No. The foam is shredded off-cuts rescued from headboard and squab production — material that's already been aired and used in upholstery, so the off-gassing phase is long gone before it reaches your pillow. Most pillows arrive with no scent at all. If you do notice anything in the first day, a quick airing clears it.
Reusing this foam also keeps it out of landfill — same comfort as virgin foam, far less waste.
Sleep on it for up to 30 nights. If it's not right — too soft, too firm, just not your thing — send it back for a full refund. We make every pillow by hand in our Auckland workroom, and we'd rather you sleep well on something else than keep a pillow you don't love. Full refund policy here.
We Dream It, And We Make It
We spend a lot of time thinking about what we can do to sleep, and live better. It’s a challenge that has kept us up at night - metaphorically speaking.
The truth is, we sleep pretty darn well. And that’s the simple mission behind Do Not Disturb: to improve lives through better sleep, and living.
If you are wondering who makes these proven-to-perform sleep essentials - we do. Each one is made by hand in our own workroom, which is a rarity these days. This allows us to protect our quality, our people, and our purpose.
