The Linen and Wisewool Sleep Mask is the simpler one. A classic sleep mask done properly at 25 grams, light enough to forget you have it on, washable, unscented, with a cotton pouch for travel. Pick it if you want light out and nothing else to think about.
Both are cut and sewn in our Auckland workroom, both have twin knot-adjustable straps you can replace, and both work on your side. The comparison above sets out the rest row by row.
The Weighted Eye Mask is built for full coverage. The wool mask blocks most light but we do not promise complete darkness, so if blackout is your main reason for buying, choose the weighted one.
Both. Each has twin elastic straps that knot to your head shape rather than squeezing it, so neither needs to be tight to stay put. On the Weighted Eye Mask the flaxseed moulds to the shape of your face as you turn.
The Wool Sleep Mask washes. Gentle hand wash in cold water with a wool detergent, then dry flat in the shade. No machine, no dryer. The Weighted Eye Mask is spot clean only, because the flaxseed and lavender fill cannot be washed. Air either one in the shade for a few hours and it freshens up.
