We’ve designed our mask to give you sumptuous, temple-to-temple blackout coverage without feeling like an oversized helmet.
Custom fit? Just knot it.
Heads come in all shapes and sizes, which is why we keep things simple and hardware-free. Our twin-strap black elastic is easily tailored to your exact comfort levels. Too loose? Just tie a new knot where it feels right, and snip off the excess.
Built to last a lifetime (literally).
We hate throwaway culture. Most sleep masks become landfill the moment their elastic stretches out - not ours. Thanks to our clever side channel design, you can easily thread a fresh piece of elastic through the side seams whenever you need to. Consider it a forever mask for forever sleep.
Pure wool does not like being roughed up or heated when wet.
We advise regular airing to reduce washing intervals.
If you do wish to wash the sleep mask - you can. Gentle hand wash only in COLD water using a delicate (or wool specific) detergent.
Do not tumble dry. Hang to dry in shade – smoothing out the eye mask whilst it is wet will ensure it looks its best when dry.

Our wool comes from a select few farms across the Gisborne region, raised outdoors in one of the best wool climates in the world. Every batch is tested at an independent lab. Only wool that makes the grade goes any further.
Engineered by Wisewool
The wool is scoured at WoolWorks in Napier, one of the world's most advanced scouring plants. It comes out clean, fibre intact, no chemical residues. Then to Te Poi in the Waikato, where it's mechanically engineered by Wisewool into a resilient layer. No binders. No additives. Just wool.

It draws moisture away from your skin while the Wisewool™ core quietly buffers temperature, absorbing warmth when you run hot and holding it when you cool. A Fit You Set Once, Then Forget
Twin elastic straps cradle the back of your head instead of squeezing it, holding the mask gently in place through every toss and turn. There are no plastic buckles and no Velcro to catch your hair. A simple knot sets your exact tension, and if the elastic ever relaxes, our side channel design lets you thread a fresh piece through in minutes. Weighing just 25 grams, you will barely know it is there.

Unlike our Weighted Eye Mask, which weighs 195 grams and provides soothing, gentle pressure via flaxseed fill, the Linen & Wisewool™ Sleep Mask weighs 25 grams and is designed as a lightweight, breathable, and ultra-soft classic sleep mask.
Filled with a core layer of 100% natural Wisewool™ needle-punched blanketing, it offers cushioned, comforting blackout and temperature regulation without added weight.
Oh yeah... the Linen & Wisewool™ Sleep Mask is washable vs the Weighted Eye Mask being 'spot clean' only.
The outer casing is crafted from premium Turkish, stone-washed 100% natural linen. Linen is renowned for its breathability, durability, and soft texture against delicate facial skin, making it ideal for night-after-night use.
Our linen is certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means it is tested to be safe for skin contact.
Yes! The mask features comfortable, non-snagging soft elastic straps with a discreet, low-profile adjustment knot.
This allows you to easily tailor the fit to your exact head size without any bulky plastic buckles or uncomfortable Velcro catching in your hair.
Also, if the elastic stretches out over time, you can re-tie the knot to adjust the tension accordingly.
We wish we could guarantee 'yes it does', but with so many variances in head shape, size etc the mask would need to be a 'transformer'.
What we do know from extensive testing and customer feedback is that the mask does a fantastic job of blocking light, and the twin-strap design helps position and tension the mask to fit you personally and reduces movement when you are sleeping... tossing and turning etc.
Don't forget you can return the mask to us within 30 nights for a full refund if it is not working for you.
The hidden wool layer is double-scoured and sits inside a Linen+cotton cover, so there should be nothing to notice. At most you may catch a faint trace of lanolin when the mask is new, which proves the wool has not been chemically treated.
Lanolin carries its own inherent antimicrobial and dust-mite-resistant powers. The scent will fade naturally over time, or you can accelerate it by airing the mask in direct sunlight for a few hours before first use.
To preserve the integrity of the natural linen and pure New Zealand wool filling, we recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth and mild wool detergent.
If a deeper wash is required, gently hand wash in COLD (heat is the enemy of pure, natural fibres) water and lay flat in the shade to dry. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or bleach.
Equally gentle as it is durable, both 100% pure linen and natural New Zealand wool are hypoallergenic, breathable, and naturally resistant to dust mites and bacteria.
They allow delicate skin around your eyes to breathe naturally without trapping heat or moisture.

You can hand wash it in a sink and it should try quickly.
Yes, absolutely! For an enhanced bedtime ritual, light misting of your Sleep Mist directly onto the outer linen layer of your mask before putting it on creates a gentle aromatherapeutic trigger.

If you are wondering whether our Sleep Mist will stain or damage the mask... this is a wonderful follow-up question to ask.
The answer is 'not at all'. Our Sleep Mist is formulated to be light, residue-free, and fabric-safe. When applied lightly to the linen outer cover, it leaves a long-lasting, calming scent without discolouring the fabric or affecting the integrity of the inner Wisewool™ filling.
We line the interior with tightly woven 100% organic cotton.
