Most draught stoppers are made to be hidden away. This one isn't.

Dense felted New Zealand lambswool, weighted with flaxseed and a quiet note of lavender. It's heavy enough to seal the gap under the door and stay put, keeping the warm air in and the cold air out.

There's more New Zealand in this than in any other draught stopper. The wool is felted by Inter-Weave in Auckland, the flaxseed is grown in Canterbury, and every one is made by hand in our workroom.

A loop at one end lets you lift it and hang it away when it is not needed.

Length 92cm · Width 8cm · Height 5cm

Weight: approx. 1.8kg

These are approximate specs. Each one is crafted by hand from natural materials, so slight variations are normal.

Need a custom length? Measure the width of your door at the base, then contact us with the length and colour you’d like and we’ll confirm a price.

Spot clean only with a damp cloth.

Do not wash or get it wet. If your draught stopper does get wet, dry it immediately (a dehumidifier is best) or dry it in the sun.

Why We Made The Draught Stopper ❤️

We created this draught stopper because we believe the little things in your home should be both beautiful and functional.

The Orchard Orange colour brings warmth, joy and a little personality to your space, while the natural materials and quality craftsmanship help keep your home comfortable season after season.

It's a small detail, but it's the kind of detail that makes everyday living feel a little more considered.

I hope it brings a pop of colour and a little joy to your home too.

Three Natural Materials
The Wool
The Wool

Felted lambswool from Inter-Weave in Auckland, a family wool house going since 1976 and one of the last of its kind. Dense, breathable, and slow to lose its shape.

The Weight
The Weight

Filled with Canterbury-grown flaxseed. The weight that holds it flat to the floor and blocks the draught. It doesn't slide, sag, or need resetting.

The Scent
The Scent

Dried lavender, mixed through the fill. A natural aroma at the doorway, never a synthetic one.

FAQs

The standard stopper is 92cm. Measure the width of your door at the base and pick one the same length or a touch longer for a clean seal. If your doorway is an odd size, we make custom lengths. Tell us the length and colour and we'll sort a price.

Yes. At 1.8kg it doesn't budge with normal door use, and the felted wool grips the floor instead of sliding around on it. Frankly, it's more reliable than some flatmates.

Felted wool is dense, breathable, and holds up for years. Synthetics tend to flatten, hold moisture, or carry a chemical smell. The NZ wool and flaxseed give it real weight and a tight seal, with a light, natural lavender scent instead of a fake one.

Spot clean with a damp cloth and keep it dry. Don't wash it or soak it. If it does get wet, dry it straight away — a dehumidifier works well, or leave it in the sun. The wool is built to last winter after winter.
